Custom Ringtones
Mike K has found a great new toy for my cell phone. It's the Mobile Office Kit from Verizon. I'm not sure what other phones they support but I have the LG 4500. The cable combined with BitPim and this tutorial allow you to upload any MP3 file as a ringtone or use your own photos for wallpaper. If nothing else, it's worth the $25 just to download all your contacts in case you lose your phone. I spent a little time screwing around with it last night. My current wallpaper is a picture off of a dock in Harrison, ME and I have three new ringtones: Will Ferrell's Robert Goulet rintones from SNL, Numa Numa kid, and George's answering machine from Seinfeld. The possibilities are endless!
