What I'm Thankful For
Next week is Thanksgiving, and I was looking forward to getting Thursday and Friday off. A couple weeks ago, we got an email from the head of our division with congratulations for some products that have shipped recently. At the end he threw in a note saying our whole division (800+ people) gets the entire week of Thanksgiving off. I figured that there had to be some sort of a catch, but now it's the Friday before the break, and no catch has surfaced. It looks like I will be making good use of my time. Tim is moving in on Monday, Tuesday is a trip to Mt. Baker, and Wednesday I'm hoping to get to Stevens Pass. Thursday I'm heading to Spokane to spend Thanksgiving with the Scherschels. I'm not sure how long I'll be over but that should take up most of the remaining vacation. I might even squeeze in a few turns on some Spokane hills. Sounds like a good week to me!
