(Warning: Jonathan, you may not want to read this.)

Open enrollment for benefits started yesterday at work. It's the one time of the year when we can make changes to our benefits package (aside from "major life events.") When I started here, I proudly signed up for the free gym membership. And that was the end of that. I never went to the gym. I don't even know where it is. Today I updated my benefits package, dropped the free gym membership, and accepted the $4/week that they pay you instead. I sold out for fifty seven cents per day. Sure I know it would be good for me if I went to the gym, but it's just not going to happen. Why would I drive all the way to the gym if I don't even use the free workout room at our condo association's main office? I figure there is plenty of room to grow in my workout routine before I need the services of a gym. Until then, I'll take my extra money and spend it on something more entertaining.

You might not be proud of me after reading this post, but at least it wasn't about skiing or XBox. When was the last time that happened?

You may now commence with the fat jokes.
