It's Monday which means the theme song will be running in my head all day. Overall I don't have many complaints about the move to ESPN for the games this year... except for Tony Kornheiser. Somebody please kick that guy out of the booth. He's like that annoying little kid on the playground who picks at people until they chase after him and he runs away. He spends the entire game making ridiculous statements until Joe Theismann refutes a claim. Tony, you don't have to hide your man crush of Joe by constantly trying to pick fights with him. This isn't Pardon the Interruption. You're not paid to argue for the whole show. Isn't there anyone else that can fill the spot? One of these nights I think Theismann is just going to pick Tony up with one arm and toss him out into the stands. What a glorious night that will be.
Every once in a while, Woot.com has a deal where they sell you a "Bag of Crap" for $1 plus about $5 shipping. The catch is that you have no idea what's in it. They sell out incredibly quickly because there are usually some good items in the bag and just about everyone gets different stuff. It's like Christmas for a dollar.
The most recent BOC day has produced some surprising results. Two people got 61" HDTVs! They try to sell these periodically on Woot, and even though they are a good deal, obviously they're tough to sell. I guess Woot was ready to get rid of them.
Regardless of how it happened, it may behoove you to make Woot a part of your daily routine.
