 September is a busy month for me. This week has been flying by and I feel like I'm running to catch up. Did you know tomorrow is Friday already?!
Here are some more random bullets...
- Today was the company meeting at Safeco. There were a couple interesting numbers that stuck out. In the first five weeks that Vista was out, it outsold the entire install base of Apple. Also, the three week giving campaign is coming up in August and they are target $75,000,000 which translates to roughly $900/employee. The philanthropic efforts of the employees at this company is quite impressive. [UPDATE: This bullet was modified to remove some info that should not have been posted.]
- Tonight was Matt's birthday trip to SyKart for some go kart action. We're usually pretty close in lap times, but he destroyed me tonight. Nonetheless, it was fun racing with everyone.
- Football started tonight! I'm catching up on the Saints vs. Colts game right now on the Tivo. since I don't have much time to watch it, I've been using the 30 second skip button liberally. That's conveniently the amount of time between each play so I'm flying through the game. It's my quarterback (Drew Brees) vs. Tim's quarterback (Peyton Manning.) Unfortunately he's in bed so we can trash talk or make side bets.
- Both Jessica AND Eric left tonight on Big Brother. AUGH! I picked Danielle to win this about halfway through the show and I'm sticking with that. I just wish Zach and Jameka had left instead. Those two are complete floaters and don't deserve to be this far in the game. Also, Zach's face is still creepy.
