Fantasy Football - Week 2
The dust has settled on week 2 and Luke is the only one still standing without a loss.
- 5 of the top 6 fantasy scores on Sunday were involved in the Cleveland - Cincinnati game. Five players had triple digit yards in that game. Carson Palmer put up 49.04 points! Cincinnati gained 531 yards, scored 45 points – and lost.
- Defending NFC champion Chicago has two touchdowns this season – one by a punt returner and one by an offensive lineman.
- San Francisco is last in the NFL in offense – and undefeated.
- Running plays on second-and-1, second-and-1, second-and-2, third-and-1, third-and-2, fourth-and-2 and fourth-and-2, the Bills gained a combined zero yards.
- Winners this week were Jim, Luke, and me. The closest game was Ed's loss to Jim with less than a three point difference. Jim pulled it out on Monday night with good performances by Westbrook and Cooley.
- Endzone Dance Award: I scored the most points this week: 167.8. Is a 200 point game within the realm of possibility?!
- This Isn't Golf Award: Dad gets the award this week. 105.4 points.
- Put Me In Coach! Award: Dad gets this award too for benching Jamal Lewis. I was runner up as I stupidly benched Randy Moss for the second week. He's had a huge season so far.
- Crystal Ball Award: Jim sucked every possible point out of his roster for the win.
- Deadbeat Award: Dad gets his third award of the week for starting Brandon Jacobs who is out for a while with an injury. I think Dad is ready to forget this week and move on to week 3!
