Cesar from the Zune team just posted my in-car demo video (previously posted at on10). Sweet!

Four months ago, Jay and I booked the ski trip to Whistler. Ever since then we've been counting down the days and that countdown has finally reached 0! Tonight I head to the airport to pick up Jay and we'll make the drive to Whistler (4-5 hours.) The forecast is calling for warm weather (temps around freezing at the top of the mountain) and blue skies, so while we might not be snagging fresh tracks on every run, we should have some great views and not be hampered by too much bad weather.

On a side note, I think I'm turning into a snow diva. I've gotten very picky this winter. Winds below 15mph, 5-7 inches of fresh snow overnight, blue skies and 25-28 degrees. That's perfect weather for me. I've been spoiled rotten out here because those are the conditions I've had on about half of my trips this year.

We might have internet access up there, and if we do, I'll try to get something posted, but don't hold your breath. When we're not skiing, we'll be doing some research into Whistler's award-winning aprés ski scene.

I'll be back with a full report on Monday. Until then, watch the web cams from Whistler and see if you can spot us.
