I just got back from our local Vista and Office 2007 launch party. It hits the shelves tonight so run out and snag a copy! I've been getting a lot of questions, and yes, I do have access to these items at a reduced price through the company store, but unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get them for everyone. We're limited on how much money we can spend in the company store each fiscal year. So please feel free to ask, but I might have to say no. Sorry!
We're back! What a trip! We had nothing but blue skies and temps around 30 degrees. Unfortunately it was really warm and wet before we got there, and that left us with crusty off-piste conditions, but we still managed to lay some impressive tracks.
Our hotel wasn't anything fancy, but you couldn't beat the location. Take a left turn out the door and you're about 100-200 yards from lifts up to both Whistler and Blackcomb. Take a right turn and there is plenty of interesting nightlife and shopping.
All in all, it was a great trip, but I'm completely crushed. Time for bed. I promise pics and video later in the week.
JonathanC has been teetering on the edge of a 360 purchase. This might just get him to whip out the wallet: Lord of the Rings is coming to HDDVD! Mmmmm... scrumptious. Too bad I already own all three boxed collector's edition 4 disc sets. Maybe I can sell them and rebuy them in HDDVD.
