The Subie has been all over the Pacific Northwest this weekend. Mom and Dad came into town on Thursday so I've been showing them the sights. On Saturday, we drove down to Mt. St. Helens and hung out there for the afternoon. We spent the night in Kelso, WA and made our way down to Cannon Beach, OR on Saturday. It's a pretty impressive beach, and since we arrived at low tide, we headed straight for Haystack Rock to examine all the pools of marine life. We rode bikes on the beach for a while and then made our way back to Seattle (after a quick detour over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.) On Monday we drove to Seattle and took a 2.5 hour Argosy cruise out into the Puget Sound, through the Ballard Locks, and down Lake Union. Today we're planning tours of Chateau Ste. Michelle and Red Hook Brewery capped off by dinner with Tim, Chelsea, Matt, and Laura.
Whew! Pictures are available in the photo gallery.
Last night my site was down completely and this morning it's back in action. Unfortunately it's pretty slow (even more than it has been in the past couple weeks.) Hopefully it will speed back up as the caches rebuild themselves, but who knows. I'm doing what I can to get it back to normal.
