Race Recap
Tonight was the last race of the season. It had warmed up during the day and then refroze in a clumpy mess so this was probably the toughest racing night we've had all season. I was very tentative on the first run and lost by three tenths (29.10 sec.) On the second run, I cut it loose and won by about half a second (28.6 sec.) That leaves my season record at 7 - 3. Not too shabby.
On both runs I had fairly good wipeouts after the finish line trying to get stopped. I tweaked my ankle a bit but hopefully that will be fine by the weekend. I need to hurry up and get this ski season over with. My injuries are piling up.
