Buy My Garmin Quest
After the GPS success while skiing on Saturday, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't hold a signal very well under the dense foliage on the hike. I started shopping around online and decided that I'd like to pick up a GPS unit that is made for outdoor use. I'll be able to load it up with topographical maps and really make it useful for hiking. Unfortunately, the ones I want can get pretty expensive, and since I already have a portable GPS unit, it's hard to justify the new purchase.
A quick search on eBay shows that my Garmin Quest is worth at least $115-135. Are you interested in buying it? I'll sell it for $100 + shipping and I'll even toss in two DVDs with maps of the entire United States (a ~$100 value.) You can find reviews and details of this unit on live.com/products. It's still in great shape and holds a charge for a long time. I'll include the wall charger, PC cables, and car mounting kit.
If you have any questions or if you'd like to buy it, shoot me a note, but please don't wait too long. If I don't get any replies by the weekend, I'm going to attempt to sell it on eBay.
