Halo Wars
Video games. Remember those things? Since last summer, I have hardly touched them, but a game has arrived that makes it worth picking up the controller again: Halo Wars.
I had the opportunity to play early builds of this quite a while back. It was already fantastic back then so this was a no-brainer purchase. I’m only about three hours into the game, but I love it! I’m a sucker for a good RTS and they have done a very good job porting the control scheme over to the console. No, it’s never going to be as good as a mouse and keyboard, but once you get over that, it’s a blast.
It’s fun to be playing a great game again, but honestly there is so much competing for my time. There’s that shiny new motorcycle sitting in the garage, new snow finally falling in the mountains, and a new Zune. This is a nice change of pace though.
