Red Stag by Jim Beam
Jim Beam recently sent me a 750ml bottle of their “Red Stag by Jim Beam” product. It’s a new black cherry bourbon. The rumor is that it was developed as a private drink at the distillery, but it was so good that they made it into a product.
I received it just before Christmas so I took the bottle over to Tyla’s parents house along with some egg nog to make the “Red Nog” drink. It’s pretty simple: 1.5 parts Red Stag and 4 parts egg nog, but boy was it delicious! We all had a drink and then the next night we had another and polished off the bottle. I wouldn’t generally classify myself as a bourbon drinker, but this drink was great.
