I'm sure you are all dying to know what I'm doing tonight. I'll give you a hint: it doesn't involve flowers, chocolate, or expensive dinner. I had a pretty good record going on Feb 14 but this year I'm shut out again. No worries though. I won't be bored. You see, today the NASCAR boys are running the Gatorade 125 Duels. They are two short races used to determine part of the qualifying order for the Daytona 500 on Sunday. My Tivo will be chunking away recording these races so I can watch them tonight.

I can't complain because I've been busy on this day for five of the last six years. But not this year. Tonight I have a hot date with my XBox360. As much as I complain about how busy the day is, I do take some sort of twisted pleasure in trying to find that one perfect restaurant that still has an open table. On the flip side, it really doesn't bother me much that I'm going to be sitting at home tonight. The rest of you can pay higher prices on that shortened menu and get rushed through your meal by the distracted waiters. I'll be munchin' on some tots and drinking a beer.
